Our Opportunity
Chewy's Dropship program is a critical extension of our fulfillment network, enabling assortment expansion and deeper vendor partnerships without expanding physical fulfillment capacity. Unlocking its full business potential requires clearly defined, well-sequenced capabilities across delivery promise accuracy, order routing, and fulfillment experience-executed cohesively across many systems and teams.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager (C06) to define what "good" looks like for Dropship technology capabilities and to drive the organization toward that vision in a structured, outcome-oriented way.
What You'll Do
- Own Dropship Tech capabilities across delivery promise accuracy, order routing, and fulfillment experience.
- Define what "good" looks like for these capabilities, including end-state vision, success criteria, and measurable outcomes tied to customer trust and operational performance.
- Sequence and prioritize capability development to progressively unlock business value while accounting for technical, operational, and organizational constraints.
- Understand the needs of internal customers and partners including Operations, Vendor Management, Customer Care, and BI.
- Partner closely with engineering, data, and operations teams to design scalable, technically sound solutions across multiple systems.
- Identify gaps between current-state workflows and desired outcomes and drive alignment on phased plans to close those gaps.
- Define and track success metrics such as promise accuracy, exception rates, and fulfillment reliability.
- Own readiness and adoption for Dropship Tech-owned capabilities, ensuring solutions are usable and operationally integrated.
- Serve as the primary product owner for Dropship Tech initiatives, clearly communicating decisions, tradeoffs, and progress.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management with ownership of technical or platform capabilities.
- Experience defining and sequencing capabilities across complex, multi-system workflows.
- Strong technical fluency and comfort working with engineers on system design, APIs, and architecture tradeoffs.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and operational goals into clear product direction.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, or marketplace platforms.
- Familiarity with delivery promise logic, order routing systems, or fulfillment orchestration.
- Experience driving adoption of internal platforms or tools.
- Experience evolving foundational capabilities into measurable business impact.
