The Team
The Core Apps Platform team is a globally distributed, multi-functional agile team of product managers, developers, designers, analysts, and engineering leaders. With team members across Australia, Hong Kong, and Malaysia, the team collaborates closely to deliver innovative solutions that accelerate app development and enhance the candidate experience.

About The Role
Reporting to the Principal Product Manager – Platform Products, the Senior Technical Product Manager – Core Apps plays a critical role in empowering SEEK’s mobile app platform to deliver exceptional candidate experiences. You will focus on enabling internal teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and engaging mobile solutions across SEEK, JobsDB and JobStreet brands.
The SEEK mobile app is a critical channel for fostering candidate loyalty and delivering on SEEK's purpose. The Core Apps Platform team creates foundational capabilities, architecture, and tooling to help sub-domain teams build seamless and intuitive mobile experiences. In this roe, you will lead the discovery, prioritization, and delivery of platform components, ensuring they are designed to address shared needs and deliver measurable value to internal teams and SEEK candidates.
As a senior product leader, you will advocate for the needs of your internal and external customers, as well as champion the platform’s capabilities across SEEK. You will work closely with Delivery, Design, and Product Managers across the business to ensure platform capabilities are continuously evolving and enabling sub-domain teams to create outstanding native app experiences. By focusing on delivering robust, scalable, and efficient solutions, you will contribute to SEEK maintaining its reputation for quality and innovation.
- Define the vision and roadmap: Identify and prioritize platform capabilities that address shared needs and create impactful outcomes for SEEK's internal teams and candidates.
- Deliver scalable solutions: Drive the development of reusable platform components and tooling that enable sub-domain teams to build intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences.
- Ensure consistency and quality: Advocate for design and experience standards across all mobile apps, promoting cohesive and frictionless candidate experiences.
- Foster a culture of innovation: Encourage the adoption of the latest operating system capabilities, native design patterns, and best practices to push the boundaries of what SEEK's apps can achieve.
- Collaborate and align customers: Engage product and engineering leaders to ensure the platform supports their goals and creates momentum across SEEK's app ecosystem.
- Advocate for the platform: Act as the primary advocate for the Core Apps Platform, driving adoption and ensuring teams fully leverage its capabilities to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Drive measurable outcomes: Define, track, and improve key success metrics to monitor the platform's impact and align development priorities with business objectives.
- Stay ahead of trends: Regularly evaluate mobile app market trends, competitor practices, and emerging paradigms in usability, visual appeal, and functionality to ensure SEEK’s apps remain competitive and meet user expectations.
Qualifications
Essential skills and Experience
- Proven experience in B2B product management, ideally involving third-party partnerships and integrations.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a talent for resolving ambiguity and balancing sophisticated trade-offs.
- A strong customer-centric mentality, with empathy for internal teams, middleware users, and end users.
- Experience in mobile, online, or software product development, including an understanding of the agile development lifecycle.
- Fluency in mobile app paradigms, including usability, visual appeal, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles.
- The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and customers.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- A demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
