Position Overview

BlackStone eIT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Presales Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer requirements, driving successful sales outcomes through expert technical guidance, solution design, and proposal support. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to craft compelling, tailored solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret client requirements from RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement documents to develop precise and compliant technical proposals.
  • Design and articulate solution architectures leveraging modern technology stacks such as .NET Core, Angular, Azure, Dynamics 365, AI/ML, and Microservices.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating solution capabilities and benefits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing, bill of quantities, and ensure commercial viability of proposals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technology advancements, and security standards to inform proposal strategies and solution designs.
  • Develop reusable proposal assets including templates, case studies, and architecture blueprints to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including cloud platforms (Azure), ERP/CRM systems (Dynamics 365), and software development technologies.
  • Proven experience preparing technical proposals and responding to government and enterprise RFPs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Visio or equivalent diagramming tools, and proposal management applications.
