About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead with 10–15+ years of experience in systems, platform, embedded, or infrastructure engineering. The role involves leading the design and development of a Kubernetes-native HCI platform, with deep expertise in storage architecture, CSI/CNI, Linux kernel development, and high-performance networking. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical leadership and drive platform reliability, performance, and complex customer issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Own the architecture and development of storage subsystems, including NVMe, block storage, and CSI drivers.
Lead CNI networking, SR-IOV, NIC offloading, and high-performance networking solutions.
Design and optimize embedded Linux services, kernel modules, and low-level platform components.
Drive performance benchmarking, reliability testing, failure handling, and platform scalability.
Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex customer escalations related to storage, networking, and kernel-level issues.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, code reviews, design guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Support, and Services teams to improve platform quality and customer outcomes.
Requirements
Required Skills
10–15+ years of experience in systems, platform, embedded, or infrastructure engineering.
Mandatory: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and internals, CSI/CNI frameworks, and driver development.
Hands-on experience with Linux kernel internals, kernel-level development, and Embedded Linux.
Strong knowledge of NVMe, block storage, distributed storage concepts, and storage lifecycle management.
Expertise in CNI plugin development, pod networking, SR-IOV, NIC offloading, and high-performance networking.
