Job Description

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Data Analyst to join our growing Patient Services team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing data workflows across HUB and Pharmacy systems. This role will focus on integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, and delivering insights that support critical business functions in HUB solutions and pharmacy operations. The candidate will work closely with IT teams, Pharmacy Staff, Call Agents, and business leaders to ensure that data-driven solutions enhance operational efficiencies, compliance, and patient outcomes.

The candidate will work directly with customer-facing colleagues and pharmaceutical clients using effective communication and business acumen in tandem with working technical knowledge of the organization’s solution offerings. The Senior Technical Data Analyst will be responsible for managing and facilitating data transfer agreements between internal systems, third-party vendors, and business partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Model Maintenance:
    • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of the HUB data model, ensuring seamless integration with pharmacy systems and other enterprise platforms.
    • Manage updates and improvements to the data model to support evolving business needs, new healthcare regulations, and integration with pharmacy workflows.
    • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across HUB and pharmacy systems, address data discrepancies and performing root cause analysis on data quality issues.
  • Creation and Standardization of Data Transfer Agreements (DTA’s):
    • Lead the development and drafting of DTA’s that outline the terms, conditions, and security requirements for the exchange of data between internal departments and external partners.
    • Develop and implement standardized templates and processes for data transfer agreements to be used across different client programs and data-sharing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to design secure, scalable processes for data transfer, using technologies such as APIs, SFTP, Data tokenization, Encryption, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Perform in-depth analysis of data related to HUB operations, pharmacy workflows, patient engagement, and healthcare compliance.
    • Develop reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights on prescription adherence, patient outcomes, and key performance indicators.
    • Implement automated solutions for monitoring data transfers, reducing manual interventions and enhancing the scalability of data-sharing operations.
  • Compliance and Data Governance:
    • Ensure that all data transfers adhere to data privacy and security regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and CGMP, as well as internal data governance policies.
    • Partner with compliance and security teams to mitigate risks associated with data transfers and ensure proper controls are in place.
    • Monitor data transfer activities to ensure they meet agreed-upon terms and troubleshoot any issues related to data exchange or compliance.
  • Process Management
    • Generate system diagrams of current and future state implementations of business applications, integrations, and data flows.
    • Develop user guides for business applications and technical systems for both administrators and standard users.
    • Develop user interface wireframes when required.
    • Document technical requirement user stories for conversions, upgrade, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • 5+ years of technical business analyst (or similar) experience with solid understanding of how business applications are configured and built in order to solve for business short/long-term solution needs. 
  • 5+ years of experience documenting system capabilities for administrators and users. Users can be business or technical oriented. 
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Framework. Experience using Confluence/JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
  • Business Process Modeling experience.
  • Ability to document system diagrams of current state and future state technical solutions. 
  • Ability to quickly learn all capabilities of new systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Data & Analytics or similar.
  • Experience in collecting, defining business requirements.
  • Familiarity with business analysis concepts, tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity in Microsoft Office applications, especially Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interact with people from all disciplines with all levels of experience.
  • Experience at working both independently and collaboratively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Patient Services experience
  • Customer Relationship Management System experience
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
