As a Senior Technical Data Analyst, you will:
- Analyze, extract, and validate data using advanced SQL queries across multiple data sources.
- Support end-to-end data migration projects by performing data mapping, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and project teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform data quality assessments and identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing data before and after migration.
- Work with Azure data services to support data integration, storage, and migration initiatives.
- Develop and optimize SQL scripts to improve data retrieval and processing performance.
- Execute root cause analysis for data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and migration reports.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Technical Data Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience in data migration, including data mapping, transformation validation, and migration support.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Storage, or similar Azure data platforms.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data models, and database optimization techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data quality assessments.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Analyze complex datasets and identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.
- Perform detailed data mapping between legacy and target systems.
- Validate migrated data to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
