We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Consultant Neuromodulation responsible for sales and support activities within Central Switzerland.
In this position, you will actively shape and optimize customer-oriented processes with a strong focus on efficiency and quality. You will work closely with physicians, clinical staff and internal stakeholders and play a key role in further developing our Neuromodulation business.
Your time allocation will be approximately:60% clinical case support and aftercare for Essential Therapy Accounts and Neuro Key Accounts, 25% expansion and further development of Essential Therapy Accounts, 15% internal administrative and operational activities. Within the Neuromodulation business, you will be responsible for our therapies: DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation), SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation), TDD (Targeted Drug Delivery).
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Monitor and support surgical procedures in the field of neuromodulation on a regular basis, support programming of implants, device instruction and patient follow-up care in selected clinics, provide high-level technical and clinical expertise to physicians and medical staff
- Plan and coordinate dedicated customer support and implement strategic measures, support preparation and execution of new product introductions and product launches, increase awareness and appreciation of our therapy portfolio, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing, especially for customer events (trainings, workshops, symposia, education programs), implement software updates on programming devices and manage customer data using CRM tools (Salesforce Lightning)
- Cooperate with internal support teams on administrative and operational tasks, meet or exceed individual territory sales targets and support district sales objectives
- Prepare sales forecasts, quotations, contracts and track bill of material consumption
Required knowledge and experience
- Completed education or studies in a technical, medical or life-science related field
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% of working time, including overnight stays
- Flexibility to work and travel within Central Switzerland
- Valid driving license
- Experience with CRM systems and tools for quotation and contract preparation
- Strong communication skills with a clear customer- and solution-oriented mindset, ability to work under pressure with a proactive, hands-on approach and sales affinity, high sense of responsibility, reliability and ownership, as well as strong collaboration skills combined with integrity and a friendly, confident personality
