For our people—Kyndryls—that means doing purposeful work that powers human progress. Join us and experience a flexible, supportive environment where your well-being is prioritized and your potential can thrive.

The Role

The Role:
You are the offshore specialist leader responsible for identity and messaging readiness and remediation in a tenant‑to‑tenant Microsoft 365 consolidation. You provide technical authority on Entra ID readiness, identity conflict remediation, access impacts and Exchange‑related sequencing considerations that shape wave delivery. You act as the escalation point for identity and messaging blockers and maintain repeatable runbooks for remediation so that Scale squads can cut over with confidence and the Factory can execute at pace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide identity and messaging readiness guidance for migration waves (entry criteria, risk assessment, mitigation planning).

- Act as escalation authority for identity/access issues impacting migrated users (authentication, policy impacts, access failures).

- Define and maintain remediation runbooks for common tenant‑to‑tenant identity and messaging blockers.

- Support coexistence and sequencing constraints, ensuring wave plans reflect technical reality.

- Coordinate with Entra Apps specialists for app access, consent and service principal dependencies that block user readiness.

- Support cutover war rooms with rapid triage and structured decision‑making.

- Ensure evidence capture for identity readiness checks and remediation acceptance.

- Maintain known‑issue catalogue and drive root cause reduction to reduce recurring blocks.

- Provide reporting inputs: blocker categories, remediation throughput, readiness health indicators.

- Align to one region and support early/late calls and cutovers as required.

Who You Are

Must‑Have:

- Delivered tenant‑to‑tenant migration work impacting Entra ID and/or Exchange readiness in production (specialism mandatory).

- Strong Entra ID operational knowledge: identity lifecycle, access patterns, policy impacts, troubleshooting.

- Strong Exchange Online operational knowledge relevant to tenant transitions and user impact mitigation.

- Proven ability to create remediation runbooks and validation criteria for repeatable execution.

- Willingness to align working hours to regional cutovers (early/late calls) and support extended hours when required.

- Strong documentation discipline and evidence‑based working practices.

- Strong stakeholder management with technical and non‑technical audiences.

Good‑to‑Have:

- Familiarity with tenant‑to‑tenant tooling approaches for directory and mailbox workloads (Quest‑style models).

- Microsoft certification alignment in identity/security/admin domains (or equivalent experience).

- PowerShell/Graph scripting for readiness checks, reporting and bulk remediation tasks.

- Experience in regulated environments requiring strict audit evidence.

Interpersonal & Consulting Skills:

- Calm, structured escalation leader under high user‑impact pressure.

- Strong risk articulation and stakeholder translation (impact, options, recommendations). - Collaborative approach with endpoints, apps, shared data and security teams.

- Strong coaching behaviours: creates repeatable fixes, not one‑off heroics.

- High integrity with access and security practices.

- Clear written comms: tickets, handovers, remediation playbooks.

Typical Deliverables / KPIs:

- Reduction in identity‑blocked wave delays and late readiness failures.

- MTTR for identity/messaging migration blockers during cutovers.

- Repeat issue reduction through known‑fix catalogues and runbook maturity.

- Evidence completeness for readiness and remediation sign‑off.

- Stakeholder satisfaction with cutover stability and clarity of risk management.

Shift / Working Pattern Notes:
Scale teams operate as a cohesive unit within a follow‑the‑sun project delivery model. Each scale team works an 8‑hour shift, scheduled across a 24‑hour global working day. Structured handovers between scale teams are mandatory and cutover periods may require rota flexibility.
