Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands the requirements of customers within the project and strives to deliver these consistently. Works with customers to achieve a successful result.
- Takes personal responsibility for ensuring the customer’s problems are resolved.
- Develops and maintains strong, productive relationships with customers.
- Develops strong relationships with R&D and delivery teams, resellers, and System Integrators.
- Takes ownership of multiple solutions to maximize the value the software provides for Enable customers.
- Partners with Functional Consulting, Project Management and Clients to lead technical solution resolution.
- Acts as a conduit between customers and technical teams.
- Works on multiple projects.
- Maintains a high-level overview of technical competence and domain knowledge of SAP and Enable products. Research new releases and updates.
- Provides solution architecture support and technical guidance.
- Relates requirements from the customer to the R&D and delivery teams.
- Ensure the technical capabilities of software customizations meets agreed upon customer requirements.
- Technical Design and Documentation for the customized solution required by the customer.
- Confirm the software technical capabilities are in line with the design specifications and customer requirements.
- Actively contributes to the successful implementation of proposed solutions, resolving technical and design issues during the implementation phase and go-live.
- Work closely with the engagement team to ensure we meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations.
- Effectively communicates and works with other team members to achieve organization objectives.
- Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities, and ad-hoc projects as and when requested.
- Ensure all billable work is billed effectively.
- Maximizes opportunities for billable work.
- Ensure timesheets are submitted on time and accurately recorded.
- Provide training and ongoing mentoring to the team.
- Understand the desired outcomes, performance standards, and timescales and act accordingly.
- Identify technical strengths and weaknesses of team members and work with them to grow and improve their skillsets. Share and transfers knowledge to others readily.
- Creates effective working relationships which enable a climate of trust and respect within the team.
- Provides technical issue resolution for escalated Project and Support incidents and tickets
- Leads by example through high-quality, hands-on practical development work and a professional approach.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Proven track record in delivering outstanding technical solutions, requirements, solution design, customer presentation skills.
Required Education and Experience
- Relevant post-secondary qualification or substantial relevant work experience.
- SAP Certified Associate - Integration Developer
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in SAP software implementations.
- Experience in implementing system design and process improvements.
- Experience working with key customers to deliver customization requirements.
- Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.
- Experience in Finance, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with an in-depth understanding of related business processes.
Preferred Education and Experience
- BS is Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience (7+ years) in a Software Development Role
- 8+ years' experience delivering customizations for SAP platforms, with an emphasis on Finance and Operations.
- 5+ years’ experience designing and architecting SAP customizations
- Expertise in SQL performance tuning
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to support their career development.
Travel
- Our roles may require some travel, with a typical average being in the region of up to 20%. Very infrequently, however, some customers at some specific stages of their projects may request a higher percentage of travel, sometimes up to 50% or more.
