Position Overview
Autodesk Enterprise Customer Success organization is seeking a talented Technical Consultant (Full Stack Developer) to design and develop customized and configured solutions for their Enterprise Application (EA) integrations with cloud-based technologies. This individual will work with the global consulting team to develop custom solutions built on Autodesk Cloud and On-Premises Products. This is an individual contributor role but has a substantial level of influence and responsibility. The ideal candidate will have experience developing products and systems in Autodesk Forge and Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
Deliver customized and configured solutions on top of Autodesk core products in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) or Manufacturing (MFG) domain.
Develop solutions for customers based on user stories provided by the consulting team.
Support solution development and deployment activities including delivery, acceptance testing, deployment packaging and user-support.
Understanding and Interpretation of solution architecture.
Create detailed solution design and documenting the development and implementation plans with estimates.
Perform the role of a Subject Matter Expert for Autodesk product APIs, Autodesk Platform Services (APS), SDKs, and extensibility frameworks.
Develop custom solutions and integrations for Autodesk Design & Manufacturing (D&M) products such as Autodesk Vault Professional, Inventor, Fusion Manage, and Autodesk Platform Services (APS).
Contribute to Autodesk IP and assets through methods development and sales collateral.
Create documentation as appropriate for solutions developed.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate solution development, improve code quality, and enhance customer delivery.
Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Drive technical excellence by contributing to solution reviews, reusable frameworks, engineering best practices, and mentoring team members where appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, or related degree
4+ years of experience in the web and cloud technology domain
Strong experience in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core application development.
Experience in Agile Software Development practices and tools (such as 'Jira. Kanban. etc.) Should be an excellent team player with team-based experience.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming modern backend framework
Experience in front end JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, and modern web frameworks such as React, is required and/or Angular might be considered.
Estimation techniques like function point or Comparative or Bottom-up.
Mandatory experience with Entity Framework.
Mandatory experience with Database Schema Design, creation, maintenance and well versed in writing SQL server queries. Experience with Databases such as NoSQL, SQL Server or Graph DB is required.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall and/or Agile (Preferred)
Experience with version control systems/Git and Azure DevOps is mandatory.
Previous experience with Autodesk Forge/APS API and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Autodesk Vault Professional, Vault SDK/API customization, or Vault integrations is highly desirable.
Strong experience with REST API / Web API creation consumption.
Experience in documentation including API reference documentation and Design documentation using UML is required.
Experience with NodeJS is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code), or Large Language Model (LLM)-based application development is a plus.
Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
Experience in handling integration between software systems is an added advantage.
