We are looking for a Senior Technical Architect to join our Architecture team in Noida, India. This is an exciting opportunity to define and drive the cloud architecture strategy for enterprise platforms within the Intellectual Property domain. You will play a key role in modernizing business-critical applications, designing scalable and secure cloud-native solutions and enabling digital transformation initiatives.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise platform delivery.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions on Azure and/or AWS
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Experience designing highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable cloud platforms.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or OpenShift.
Strong understanding of networking, identity management, security architecture, and cloud governance principles.
Experience leading cloud migration, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives.
Experience with cloud cost optimization, FinOps practices, and cloud operational governance.
Strong technical documentation and architecture modeling skills.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have...
Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud certifications.
Experience defining enterprise cloud reference architectures, landing zones, and governance frameworks.
Knowledge of data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, or modern lakehouse architectures.
Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API management, event streaming, and messaging platforms.
Experience implementing security frameworks, zero-trust architecture, compliance, and regulatory requirements
What Will You Be Doing in This Role?
You will be responsible for:
Defining cloud architecture strategy, standards, principles, and best practices across the organization.
Designing scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud-native solutions on Azure and AWS.
Leading application modernization initiatives including re-platforming, refactoring, and cloud transformation programs.
Establishing reusable architecture patterns, reference implementations, and engineering guardrails.
Reviewing solution designs and providing architectural guidance to engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Collaborating with Enterprise Architects to align business objectives with technology strategy and target state architecture.
Driving adoption of modern architecture approaches including microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs, and platform engineering.
Designing cloud networking, security, identity, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Leading cloud governance initiatives covering security, compliance, risk management, operational excellence, and FinOps.
Supporting performance optimization, cloud cost management, and platform reliability improvements.
Participating in architecture review boards, technology evaluations, and strategic planning activities.
Identifying technical debt, platform simplification opportunities, and strategic modernization initiatives.
About the Team
The Architecture team supports Intellectual Property technology by providing strategic technology leadership, defining enterprise architecture standards, and enabling cloud-first engineering practices across the organization. The team works closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Teams, Engineering Teams, Security Teams, DevOps Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver modern, resilient, and scalable technology platforms.
The team focuses on cloud modernization, platform engineering, security architecture, application transformation, cost optimization, enterprise integration, and enabling future AI-driven capabilities. AWS and Azure are the preferred cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on automation, governance, operational excellence, and business value realization.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time opportunity with Clarivate, working 9 hours per day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
