Job Description Summary
We are seeking a passionate Technical Advisory Consultant that eager to help financial industry player to implement, deploy and provide advisory in a highly dynamic and secure environment. Swift offers a dynamic range of business, technical, and infrastructure consultancy services tailored to the needs of our diverse customer base. As a Financial Services Industry Consultant, you will navigate complex business and technical environments, provide crucial support and deliver top-notch technical consulting services. In this role, you will help our clients adapt to product and context changes, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. This position is an excellent opportunity for personal growth, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of industry challenges and innovative solutions.

You will own and manage a variety of projects, engaging directly with customers to provide them with assistance and advice, and collaborating with internal teams such as Business Development, Product, and Professional Services. This role not only develops your project management skills but also develops your expertise in fundamental aspects linked to the business of Swift and its rich ecosystem while enhances your ability to work in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. Responsibilities:

  • Get exposed to Swift’s technical solutions and increasingly deliver and implement such solutions and related consulting to our customers
  • Deliver technical and operational training on Swift’s products and solutions to our customers
  • Increasingly partakes in projects of varying complexities, ensuring effectiveness in meeting customer's needs, and delivering the project's expected outcomes while maintaining effective communication and managing expectations in order to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Manage project risks (security, resources, budget, quality) and escalating issues to management when appropriate.
  • Assist the customer in their technical readiness or solution onboarding (Such as SwiftAPI onboarindg and etc),, solving potential issues they face during projects when those fall within one’s area of expertise and within the scope of the project, thereby ensuring the success of the customer engagement
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience. Update knowledge management databases and document problem management procedures for both existing and new products/services as required.

What will make you successful:

  • Professional background/education: bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or IT related fields, or equivalent experience
  • 6-10 years relevant experience within the area of technical and system implementation or support and operations preferably inbanking and payments businesses.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and any other language spoken across Asia Pacific is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to Swift Messaging in any business line, Swift's interface products, or other Swift platform services.
  • Proven ability to drive and contribute in a diverse, multi-cultural, multi-country team environment and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate and drive within a team environment and deliver with result under pressure.
  • High attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills is mandatory.
  • Technical skillsets on operating systems, servers, and networking is a must -e.g. Windows Server, AIX or Linux
  • Expert knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies including routers, VPN, firewalls, etc.
  • Knowledge of Perl, Java, XML, Bash, JIRA is a bonus.
  • Experience with integration middleware and common messaging technologies
  • Knowledge in modern integration techniques and technologies, especially Service Oriented Architectures, application server and Web services
  • Occasional travel may be required (Occasional weekends and after business hours work can be expected on a need-to basis to support customer go-live activities)
