ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- You have 6+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical account management, with 8+ years of total work experience at tech companies
- You will work out of our San Francisco office, on a hybrid schedule (Tue-Thurs in office)
- You are able to understand and explain technical concepts to customers
- You enjoy working with the customer directly, and spending most of your day on live calls learning from users
- You thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- You have a process-oriented mindset and ability to drive consensus across cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion
- You enjoy interacting with internal and external stakeholders and can draw insights and takeaways from disparate conversations
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Prior experience in customer facing roles at startups in the API, fintech, or HR tech space
- Prior experience in cross-selling/up-selling customers
ABOUT THE ROLE
Zeal customers are enterprises (gig companies, staffing companies, etc.) who use a combination of APIs and white labeled components to build their dream workforce payment experiences. In your role you will serve as a go-to contact for our customers for everything from implementation, go-live, launching new products and more. This role will also report directly to the CEO at Zeal, where you will serve as their right-hand for all customer-related motions.
SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON
- In partnership with business + product leaders, identify and accelerate the strategy, implementation, program management, and operationalization of key partner initiatives across several verticals at Zeal
- Own the relationships with our partners, and advocate for them internally. Understand their problems and execute on the solution
- Partner will solutions engineers on Zeal to solve technical problems for customers and build helpful technical guides for how they can
- Provide intellectual leadership through business analyses to develop concrete solutions or recommendations for our partners
- Develop strong cross functional relationships across Zeal’s and our partner’s leadership teams, becoming a trusted thought partner on all things program management, fintech, and partner growth
- Ideate with the Program Management Team and execute on initiatives to drive-down integration time, reduce integration churn, and increase customer NPS + resign percentages.

OUR COMPENSATION & PHILOSOPHY
The range for this role is between $140,000-$180,000 for California-based candidates.
