Our technology department, known as the Bureau of Technology (BoT), is at the heart of Back Market.
It consists of over 30 dynamic product teams that are engaged in developing and managing services to deliver significant value to our customers and suppliers. These teams are effectively supported by our Platform group, which includes more than 10 specialized teams addressing cross-cutting technical issues to enhance our operational capabilities.
In addition to these functional teams, we have established numerous groups dedicated to sharing knowledge across various technical disciplines, such as security, backend, frontend, AI, and mobile. Team leads must juggle people management with hands-on technical work to keep their teams moving fast and maintaining high technical standards.

What technical contribution means for this role ?
Technical contribution extends beyond writing code. TLMs can contribute through:
Code contributions: Pull requests, bug fixes, feature development
Technical design: Architecture decisions, system design, technical specifications

We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead Manager for our Subcriptions squad.
The Subscription team is building Back Market's next growth engine: a suite of device protection and repair services, so we're transforming how customers protect their refurbished devices through subscription plans, smart retention flows, and personalized experiences.
As TLM, you'll lead technical delivery across our subscription platform, Services hub, and payment systems while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to scale a service that genuinely extends device life and drives the circular economy.
What you'll be doing :
Leading a collaborative team (5 people) in delivering great software that our customers will love!
Collaborating within the product engineering department to align the team with company objectives and initiatives across engineering and the wider business
You build strong roadmaps with the right balance of long-term strategic initiatives and more short-term tactical bets that embody the company’s strategy and the team’s growth-hacking mindset
Demonstrating a broad understanding of our global architecture and how your domains fits within it
Consistently delivering code that sets the standard for quality and maintainability
Ensuring the development of people through ongoing coaching and mentoring
Creating a team environment where team members feel like they belong and are supported to do their best work
Establishing open communication and a culture of feedback between team members
Working in an agile "build it and run it" environment where engineering teams build, launch, monitor and support the sections they own
Supporting your team in increasing delivery proficiency by creating a learning environment

Experience working in agile development teams with knowledge of our following tech stack : AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, RestFul API, Python, Django, VueJs, Nuxt, Datadog etc

Enthusiasm about reaching new levels of effectiveness (and quality!)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
