This is a pivotal role where you'll lead all aspects of our global transfer pricing function, directly supporting our international growth and ensuring compliance across diverse geographical regions. This is a high-impact position, highly visible to our finance leadership team, where you'll provide critical insights on tax implications for strategic financial planning and potential business opportunities. You will communicate effectively across multiple time-zones and geographical regions.
The role can be based in Palo Alto, San Francisco, or New York City, and will report to the Head of Tax.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive transfer pricing strategies for the global Navan business in accordance with international tax regulations and company objectives
- Lead in monthly and quarterly transfer pricing operations, including reviewing intercompany transactions and ensuring appropriate remuneration is made in alignment with transfer pricing policies
- Oversee and manage all transfer pricing documentation and compliance for intercompany transactions to support tax positions and prepare for audit challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess transfer pricing risks of business decisions and advise on risk mitigation and tax implications
- Partner closely with third-party consultants and auditors to ensure all tax requirements are achieved both timely and accurately
- Communicate transfer pricing strategies, policies, and results with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors
What We’re Looking For:
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience
- Proactive and resourceful team player with positive attitude and energy in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to quickly understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities, and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Excellent use of Excel, Google Suite, and hands-on exposure to Netsuite accounting systems

For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
