  • Partner with Finance, Controllership, IT, Legal, Supply Chain, and business teams on tax matters impacting operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Support cash tax forecasting, effective tax rate analysis, and tax risk management.
  • Maintain tax calendars, documentation, controls, and audit-ready workpapers.
  • Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives across tax compliance and reporting processes.
  • Support ERP, tax engine, and tax technology initiatives, including tax configuration, testing, data validation, reporting, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and related data requests.
  • Assist in building and enhancing standalone tax processes, controls, and governance within a newly public company environment.

We're looking for someone who...

  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • Has 8–12 years of progressive corporate tax experience.
  • Brings strong U.S. corporate income tax and ASC 740 experience.
  • Experienced managing U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance processes.
  • Experienced with Canadian corporate tax compliance.
  • Experienced supporting audits, tax notices, and tax authority inquiries.
  • Experienced in consumer products, retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or other transaction-intensive business environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with distribution-driven business models, inventory flows, and indirect tax considerations.
  • Experienced with ERP and tax technology platforms such as SAP, Vertex O Series, OneSource, Sage Fixed Assets, Avalara, Checkpoint, or similar systems.
