Job Summary:
The Senior Tax Associate works with the India Team Lead and Manager to extract invoices from client data identifies & enters sales tax information from invoices to an access or excel database. Format and reconcile the data with source data from the clients.
Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results
People:
- Create a positive team experience.
Client:
- Proactive status work status update to International / India liaison.
- Downloading & extracting invoices from client networks.
- Prepare reports as per the requirements from consultants.
Value:
- Identifying and entering sales tax details from the invoices into a database.
- Reconcile the values from different data sources.
- Analyze data from invoices and submit a summary report.
- Completes tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed.
- Grasps knowledge on processes and is willing to prepare Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on a needy basis.
Education and Experience:
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business.
- 1-3 years of experience.
Computer Skills:
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
