  • Take ownership of the transfer pricing lifecycle, from methodology execution to monthly reporting and calculations.

  • Serve as a technical advisor for charitable foundation groups, supporting tax compliance and providing technical guidance.

  • Manage the end-to-end indirect tax compliance cycle to ensure global accuracy:

    • Execute and finalize US sales tax filings utilizing Avalara;

    • Coordinate with the Procure-to-Pay team to assist with, review, and finalize Canadian sales tax filings;

    • Oversee the timely preparation and finalization of international VAT filings in partnership with external service providers.

Tax Reporting:

  • Architect the consolidated tax provision process in accordance with ASC 740 US GAAP, ensuring strategic alignment with global financial goals.

  • Lead high-level advisory with Treasury, Accounting, and Financial Reporting teams to safeguard the integrity of tax disclosures and deferred tax strategies.

  • Own corporate reporting outputs, providing actionable insights that inform Tax Leadership.

Tax Research:

  • Conduct research into complex tax issues to support compliance, reporting, and planning solutions within the SaaS ecosystem.

  • Design and deliver expert-led training programs that elevate the tax literacy and operational efficiency of key business units.

  • Act as the definitive subject matter expert for internal finance and operations teams, solving critical tax challenges autonomously.

Strategic Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Product teams to embed tax expertise into core business initiatives.

  • Drive special projects and high-impact tax initiatives that contribute to the rapid growth and scale of our global operations.

What you’ll bring:

  • An "AI-first" mindset with a strong drive to leverage emerging AI technologies and automation to streamline tax compliance, and reporting workflows.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of autonomy, thriving in the ambiguity of a high-growth SaaS environment.

  • Visionary problem solver who takes full end-to-end ownership of complex tax challenges.
