Job Description
General Summary:
The Senior Tax Analyst, US Tax & Transfer Pricing will work with the Senior Manager, US Tax & Transfer Pricing on all Vertex transfer pricing and intercompany matters as well as international aspects of US tax.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation to satisfy local transfer pricing requirements, including maintenance of functional information, gathering relevant transfer pricing data, reviewing report contents, working with service providers, and assisting with timeline management.
- Prepare transfer pricing calculations in accordance with tax transfer pricing policies.
- Work with Senior Manager, US Tax and Transfer Pricing and Director, US Tax and Transfer Pricing to set and maintain tax transfer pricing policies.
- Support with the Non-North American tax team on appropriate statutory adjustments for global transfer pricing.
- Support in various aspects of transfer pricing related tax controversy, including information gathering, reviewing audit responses, and maintaining appropriate internal documentation.
- Assist in the process of maintaining and drafting intercompany agreements.
- Responsible for preparation of global transfer pricing model and US international tax (GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, FTCs) calculations for use in quarterly and annual reporting process.
- Coordinates with third party advisors on various aspects of transfer pricing, including valuation exercises, intercompany transactions and transfer pricing policies.
- Monitor global transfer pricing and US international legislative and regulatory changes.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong skillset in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Alteryx, Oracle & Hyperion
- Knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in Big Four/corporate in-house tax department or the equivalent combination of education and experience
