JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive tax account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and alignment between US GAAP books, local statutory books, and tax books. The ideal candidate is an accountant with significant experience in tax reconciliation processes, tax accounting, and compliance readiness in Latin America.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare US GAAP vs Local GAAP tax account reconciliations, identifying variances and ensuring proper documentation.
- Perform Local Statutory Book vs Tax Book reconciliations for LATAM legal entities.
- Maintain reconciliations for key tax balances in a monthly basis.
- Track and analyze reconciling items, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure all tax-related balances align with internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with external auditors, internal audit, and statutory auditors during tax-related reviews.
