Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and technical Senior Tax Accountant to join the tax team. This role is designed for a tax professional with a strong interest in international tax policy. The role will focus heavily on BEPS 2.0 (Pillar Two) implementation, Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules, and Transfer Pricing documentation (80%), while supporting international corporate tax compliance and reporting (20%).

What you will be responsible for:

BEPS & International Tax (80%)

• BEPS 2.0 & Pillar Two Implementation: lead the data collection, collation and analysis of financial data for GloBE ETR calculations across multiple jurisdictions
• Top-up Tax Modelling: Perform impact assessments and modelling to determine potential top-up tax liabilities under Pillar Two rules.
• Transfer Pricing Documentation: Assist in preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local File) to align with OECD guidelines
• Data Reporting: Prepare and file Country-by-Country Reports (CbCR) and ensure data accuracy in tax provisioning systems to support BEPS compliance
• Legislative monitoring: Research OECD guidance, administrative release, and local jurisdiction enactments of BEPS rules, providing updates to the relevant stakeholders
• Internal Controls: Strengthen tax accounting processes and internal controls to ensure audit readiness for BEPS reporting.

Tax Compliance & Reporting (20%)

• Prepare and review of tax returns for direct and indirect taxes (e.g. corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, etc)
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions (current and deferred) in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax accounting.
• Ensure accurate tax payments are processed timely and properly recorded in
  financial accounts.
• Any other ad-hoc projects/tasks assigned
  

How you will stand out:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field (CPA, CA or equivalent certification is a plus).
• 5-7 years of experience in tax, with at least 4 years dedicated to Transfer Pricing within a multinational corporation or a major public accounting firm (e.g., Big 4)
• Proven knowledge and deep understanding of Transfer Pricing methodologies, OECD guidelines and BEPS compliance requirements
• Demonstrated experience in managing or supporting transfer pricing audits and litigation
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and work with large financial data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex tax concept clearly to non-tax stakeholders
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
