What you'll be responsible for:
Circle is looking for an experienced and exceptional Senior Tax Accountant to join its high growth team. This role will provide support for a broad range of tax matters, including compliance & reporting, and various special projects.
What you'll work on:
- Preparing aspects of the global tax provision in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Assisting with domestic and international direct tax compliance.
- Assisting with income tax audits and notices from various tax authorities: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
- Monitoring and keeping abreast on changes in tax laws, rules and/or regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests.
- Driving improvements to the company's overall tax position and assisting with special projects as needed.
What you'll bring to Circle:
Core Requirements:
- 4+ years of income tax compliance and financial reporting experience with a combination of large public accounting firms and corporate tax departments.
- Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills. Ability to creatively complete tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MS in Tax and/or a CPA preferred.
- Experience managing relationships with external advisors and auditors.
- Experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation Close Cloud Service (FCCS), Oracle Account.
- Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), and Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud Services (TRCS) preferred.
- Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range: $102,500 - $137,500
