Reports To: Talent Acquisition Manager 

Location: The Woodlands, TX 

Amount of Travel Required: 50% 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Overtime as Needed

Position SummaryThis role supports full-cycle recruiting and acts as the primary liaison between Beusa and its family of companies and technical schools, universities, and military career programs to promote our employer brand. In addition to sourcing talent, this role will support the Talent Acquisition Manager with key components of our emerging talent strategy, specifically highlighting the execution of our Summer Internship Program, as well as creating pipelines for new graduates and transitioning military. 

The ideal candidate is an organized, people-first professional who can manage active requisitions, build long-term university and military partnerships. 

Essential Functions (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.") 

University, Tech School & Military Relations 

  • Develop, cultivate, and lead relationships with target university career centers, key academic leaders, technical/trade school faculty, and military installation transition elements (e.g., TAP offices, SkillBridge coordinators) for long-term value. 

  • Lead the implementation of the campus and military base recruiting strategy, enhancing Beusa's brand and reputation regionally and nationally. 

  • Coordinate and participate in recruiting activities such as career fairs, office and campus interviews, classroom presentations, information sessions, networking dinners, and speaker series events. 

  • Spearhead our employer branding and social media presence across platforms (including LinkedIn, Indeed, and targeted Facebook Groups) to actively promote our internships and veteran hiring initiatives, with performance measured by key metrics tied to social media engagement, reach, and applicant conversion rates. 

  • Record, update, and analyze all recruiting and school/base engagement data. 

Summer Internship Program Execution 

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in executing the summer intern program for both field operations and the corporate office. 

  • Serve as the day-to-day coordinator and primary point of contact for interns. 

  • Partner with hiring managers and HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to coordinate intern conversion discussions and program feedback. 

Full-Cycle Recruiting, Employer Branding,  & TA Strategy 

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned corporate and field requisitions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and candidate communication on approved job boards. 

  • Develop an external network within the marketplace to understand competition and salary trends, making strategic recommendations to the team based on this knowledge. 

  • Strategize across the talent acquisition function to develop and implement proactive social media initiatives. 

  • Develop and maintain behavioral interview guides, competency evaluation tools, and hiring manager resources. 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. 

Qualifications

Position Requirements 

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older. 

  • Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). 

  • Overtime may be required and in person, predictable attendance in The Woodlands, TX when applicable. 

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy. 

Education/Experience Level 

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent military/professional experience); 

  • 5 or more years of experience in talent acquisition, HR, or recruiting coordination — internship, early careers, or veteran recruiting experience strongly preferred; 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously; 

  • Experience presenting to groups, facilitating events, and representing an employer brand externally; 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, candidate-first approach; 

Preferred 

  • Experience managing or coordinating a comprehensive summer internship program or early careers rotational program, including performance tracking and social event planning; 

  • Campus, technical school, or military base recruiting (DoD SkillBridge, Hiring Our Heroes) experience preferred; 

  • Familiarity with employer branding and sourcing platforms such as Handshake, LinkedIn, or ClearedJobs; 

  • Background in the energy, construction, utility, or infrastructure industries a plus. 

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities 

  • High proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and with applicant tracking systems preferred (e.g., Paycom). 

  • Ability to exhibit resilience with the expertise to challenge & influence stakeholders at all levels to continuously improve candidate & hiring manager experiences. 

  • Ability to lead with data and possess the ability to make data-driven decisions. 

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, collaborative and conflict-resolution skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, demonstrating keen attention to detail.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations related to talent acquisition. 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Employees are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat or kneel. The employee works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while typing on a computer, whether in a home office, corporate office, client office, or jobsite. The employee must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. When required to visit a wellsite, the work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio levels up to 85 dB, inclement weather, and extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). Given these conditions, employees visiting a pad site are required to wear company-mandated and company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Category 2 fire retardant coveralls or Category 2 shirt/jeans combination, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and designated safety gloves according to role. Employees must strictly adhere to all safety policies, including the Companies' Life Saving Rules and procedures at all times. Employees must be able to independently lift 25 lbs. 

Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
