We are seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to be the force behind their growth. In this role, you will build the talent engine that directly accelerates our product delivery and business objectives. You won't just be filling roles; you will build a predictable, high-quality talent funnel that gives SumUp a competitive edge. Your success will be measured by your ability to secure the critical technical expertise that fuels our innovation.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a key advisor to Engineering, Product, Design, Supply Chain and Logistics leadership, utilizing market intelligence and hiring data to consult on talent strategy, shape role requirements, and influence key hiring decisions.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust and predictable talent funnel for current and future needs, reducing time-to-hire and ensuring a consistent flow of high-caliber candidates.
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle with a relentless focus on performance metrics, including quality of hire, pipeline velocity, and offer acceptance rates.
- Continuously refine and scale our recruitment processes to maximise efficiency, improve hiring outcomes, and deliver a best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Lead data-informed employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns that measurably increase the quality of our inbound applicant pool for critical tech roles.
- Own the candidate journey from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring every interaction is optimised to engage, attract, and convert top-tier talent.

- You have demonstrated competence in interviewing, sourcing, and stakeholder management.
- You possess strong project management, organisational, and negotiation skills.
- You are an excellent communicator with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- You are adaptable and flexible, with a strong sense of curiosity and learning agility.
- You are analytical and have a solid understanding of recruiting metrics and how to derive actions from them.
- You have knowledge of the local talent landscape in Germany and Europe.
- You currently have legal right to work in Germany. This role doesn't offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
