Position Overview

At Civeo, people are at the heart of everything we do. As our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a critical role in attracting, engaging and securing exceptional talent across our Australian operations.

Embedded within a high-performing, pod-based recruitment model, you will partner closely with operational leaders to deliver high volume hiring solutions while potentially leading and mentoring a small team of Talent Acquisition Partners. Combining hands-on recruitment expertise with stakeholder influence and people leadership, you will drive recruitment excellence, build high-quality talent pipelines, and ensure outstanding candidate experiences across every stage of the hiring journey.

This is an opportunity for an experienced talent acquisition professional or high-volume recruiter to make a significant impact, contribute to workforce planning outcomes, and help shape the future of recruitment at Civeo. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • End-to-end recruitment across designated portfolios, partnering with Hiring Managers & leading workforce meetings.
  • Manage a high-volume desk, recruiting for our growing village sites across Australia.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, talent pipelines and talent pooling initiatives to support current and future workforce requirements. 
  • Work at pace to deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes that balance business needs, candidate experience, compliance requirements and time-to-fill objectives. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational and corporate stakeholders, providing expert guidance on hiring strategies, market insights, workforce planning and talent decisions. 
  • Potentially lead, coach and mentor Talent Acquisition Partners, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on capability development and continuous improvement. 
  • Monitor recruitment performance, analyse hiring metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, service delivery and overall recruitment effectiveness. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, recruitment compliance and best practice talent acquisition methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Advanced sourcing, talent mapping and candidate assessment expertise.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to process excellence.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret recruitment data and metrics.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering innovative recruitment solutions. 

Experience

  • Extensive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition or recruitment within complex or fast-paced, high volume environments.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior operational and corporate stakeholders.
  • Strong background in high-volume, operational, remote workforce, mining, resources, hospitality, accommodation, facilities management or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain talent pipelines across critical skill groups.
  • Experience working within specialised, pod-based or high-performing recruitment models.
  • Demonstrated success balancing strategic talent initiatives with hands-on recruitment delivery.
