We are looking for a passionate and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to collaborate closely with the management team to identify and recruit top talent for Gauss Labs, an industrial AI startup. You will focus primarily on recruiting professionals in AI, machine learning, software engineering, and data science to help solve complex problems in manufacturing and other industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing talent acquisition in the Korean market, as well as coordinating with external recruiting agencies in both the US and Korea. You will also communicate directly with candidates in the US and Canada, coordinate interviews, and manage the overall recruiting process to ensure it moves efficiently from initial contact through completion.
Responsibilities
- With the alignment of Gauss Labs’ business objectives, actively develop sourcing strategies including market mapping, job posting, candidate pipe-lining, and candidate pre-qualification techniques.
- Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline throughout the year by creating a strong external talent network. As a result, out talent pipeline is robust all year round for our bread-and-butter positions like AI Scientist, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, and Software Engineer.
- Keep the leaders in the know on top talents in the market and regularly arrange casual tea times.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience with timely follow-up so that all interviews are well-organized and confirmed.
- Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
- Manage complex scheduling with all levels of stakeholders including the management team in HQ ensuring candidate engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle via phone, video, in-person including travel.
- Perform various administrative duties that support the recruiting function, such as documentation, track and maintain applicant records.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering background preferred.
- At least 7+ years of experience within recruiting industry, understanding the IT industry is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage candidates and collaborate with internal clients.
- Good communication skills both in English and Korean.
