Job Title: Senior Tableau Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced dashboards and data visualization solutions that drive strategic business decisions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into high-impact insights for senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Tableau dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders to define analytics requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Drive data storytelling by delivering actionable insights that influence strategic decisions.
- Optimize and enhance dashboard performance, ensuring scalability, usability, and best practices.
- Architect and manage data models, data sources, and Tableau extracts.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and consistency across all reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and implement robust data pipelines.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in data visualization and analytics.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Tableau and data visualization standards.
- Lead documentation efforts, including data definitions, architecture, and development standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, with a strong portfolio of enterprise dashboards.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and/or Tableau Cloud.
- Strong expertise in SQL and working with large-scale relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle).
- Deep understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tableau Certification (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Desktop Specialist).
- Experience with Python, R, or other advanced analytics tools.
- Experience in Procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, or Industry 4.0 environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery.
