Role Overview
The Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of applications within the Service Platform (C4S). This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to validate new functionality, perform regression testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases. The position also provides testing and operational support for the S1 Scheduling application.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing functionality within the C4S platform
- Perform comprehensive regression testing to ensure system stability and prevent defects
- Partner with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution tracking, and issue resolution
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication across teams
- Support system release cycles by validating functionality and readiness for deployment
- Provide testing and functional support for the S1 Scheduling application
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycle, and best practices
- Experience with functional, regression, and UAT testing
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HPLM.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing enterprise service platforms or similar systems
- Knowledge of scheduling or workforce management applications (e.g., S1 Scheduling)
- Exposure to automation testing tools and frameworks
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
