If you are located near one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto), you will be expected to work in the office a minimum of twice per week on our designated Anchor Days.
We are looking for high-performing, creative, and collaborative people that bring care and curiosity to everything they do. If the idea of being an architectural subject matter expert and building out processes on a newly forming team, in an egoless environment where all ideas are valued is exciting to you, then this is the team for you!

What your team does:
  • Clio is looking for someone to join the FP&A Systems team to design, develop, maintain and administer our EPM platform and related systems.

  • We partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business leaders to enhance financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.

  • We configure and optimize our EPM platform to support budgeting, scenario modelling, and financial analysis.

  • We develop scalable workflows and automation to improve efficiency and data integrity.

  • We support end users by providing training, documentation, and troubleshooting for FP&A Systems.

  • We collaborate with IT and other system teams to integrate EPM data across platforms.

What you’ll work on:
  • Serve as the architectural subject matter expert for our EPM Solution (Pigment).

  • Responsible for maintaining FP&A integrations with other connected applications (NetSuite, Workday, SFDC, Looker).

  • Evaluate Clio’s business processes and develop process improvements optimizing the use of FP&A tooling.

  • Create and manage issues within our roadmap based on severity and work with your team and partners and resolve them in a timely manner.

  • Manage user tickets, provide technical support and resolve bugs relating to our EPM Solution.

  • Administer user licenses and permissioning for our EPM Solution while ensuring proper controls are in place to maintain the integrity of sensitive data.

  • Document application development processes, procedures, and standards for use within the FP&A Systems team.

  • Develop and deliver instructional materials for our users to better enable adoption of our systems.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partners independently to scope and develop solutions.

What you should have:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and implementing EPM solutions.

  • Proven experience in developing models for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

  • Extensive experience in aligning application development with business needs.

  • A solution-oriented personality with an emphasis on strong collaboration and communication among your partners and stakeholders.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

What you may have:
  • You are equally energized by both your own technical work as well as contributing to the career growth of your team.

  • You have strong opinions that are weakly held, and foster that same attitude in others.

  • You challenge and enable your team to take initiative, explore, and implement new improvements while balancing that work against satisfying the requirements as defined by the business.

  • You believe in providing honest, actionable feedback to your team, and encourage your team to reciprocate.

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI

Serious bonus points if you have:
  • Extensive experience developing and administering solutions in Pigment.

  • Prior experience working within or working closely with FP&A teams.

  • A strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
