The DBVA platform is central to the Business Value Assurance function within IFS and the partner community, used daily by 100+ employees. This role will lead the replatforming and long-term operation of a business-critical operational platform.

You will ensure the system is secure, scalable, and maintainable, while building most of the solution hands-on in collaboration with an AI Engineer and business stakeholders.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering the new system architecture in Azure, migrating the existing low-code/C# solution into a modern, scalable architecture using React, Golang, PostgreSQL, and event-driven microservices, with integrated and embedded AI capabilities using AI-assisted coding.

This is a focused, high-responsibility role where you will both design and build the technical solution, supported by the AI Engineer and guided by business stakeholders. After the platform is built, you will own the system long-term, including maintaining stability, integrations, and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the replatforming effort: design, build, and deploy the new technical solution
• Architect and develop a scalable and secure system using Golang, React, and PostgreSQL
• Design and implement event-driven and microservices architecture
• Build data streaming and messaging solutions using Apache Kafka
• Ensure multi-tenant, B2B-ready design with strong data segregation and security
• Deploy and manage services using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Own the long-term technical quality, maintainability, and scalability of the platform
• Collaborate with the AI Engineer to embed AI-driven functionality
• Partner with business stakeholders for requirements, testing, and continuous improvement

Overall Required Competencies:

• Strong experience with event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and microservices architecture
• Expertise in containerized and cloud-native application development
• Hands-on builder mindset, comfortable both architecting and coding
• Experience designing scalable SaaS or B2B platforms
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding workflows
• Security-first mindset with experience building resilient distributed systems

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of full-stack or backend engineering experience
• Proven experience modernizing or replatforming legacy applications
• Strong backend development experience with Golang
• Frontend development experience with React
• Experience with PostgreSQL and scalable data architecture
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or event streaming platforms
• Experience deploying systems using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with Helm for Kubernetes deployments
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems and distributed architectures
• Ability to work across business and technical teams
• Strong English communication skills

Desirable

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Knowledge of API gateways, security frameworks, and service orchestration
• Experience with AI-assisted development and deployment practices
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, GDPR, SOC2)
• Experience leading development teams or mentoring junior engineers
