What You’ll Do
- Apply sound Systems Engineering principles across the full lifecycle.
- Develop and manage requirements for systems, subsystems, and components.
- Support system reviews (SDR, PDR, DDR, TRR) and prepare technical briefing materials.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, change management, and documentation processes.
- Manage interface design descriptions for internal and external systems.
- Oversee integration, validation, and verification activities.
- Review OEM documentation and subcontract deliverables for compliance.
- Develop and review acceptance test procedures and reports.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Requirements Management.
- Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and tools like DOORS NG.
- Experience in defence, aerospace, transport, or similar regulated environments.
- Proven ability to manage V&V programs and apply military/commercial standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with adaptability and a proactive mindset.
Bonus Skills
- Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or National Engineering Register (NER) accreditation.
- Knowledge of V&V Engineering, ILS Engineering, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Awareness of whole-system design issues (environmental, EMC, safety, human factors).
