ECS is seeking a TS-cleared Senior Systems Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in Washington, DC.

We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide innovative solutions. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their application related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner. This position performs activities associated with the implementation, integration, operations and support of computer systems in a mission-critical response operations environment.

  • Monitor systems performance in a production environment.
  • Plan, engineer, and sustain systems infrastructure; implement and design hardware and software.
  • Acquire, install, test, and implement systems components.
  • Ensure appropriate hardware and/or software meets functional and operational requirements.
  • Evaluate current systems for effectiveness; recommend systems scalability systems and troubleshoot issues for continuous integration/continuous deployments using Centos and Linux.
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $205,000

Preferred Qualifications
  • US citizenship with active Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience
  • Possess AWS Developer-Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer-Professional.
  • Monitor systems performance in a production environment. 
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to ensure that current and/or new systems meet functional and operational requirements.
  • Plan, engineer, implement, and document system infrastructure based on the established requirements.
  • Perform O&M related task in a production environment. This can include but is not limited to work surrounding system monitoring and alerting, continuity of operations and disaster recovery, technical troubleshooting, and provisioning of environments.
