Think Technologies Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join the Managed Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and optimization of our clients' IT infrastructure. You will serve as an escalation point for our service desk, providing expert technical support and resolving complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting skills. This is an on-site opportunity located in Ocala, Florida.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for a diverse range of client environments.
- Act as an escalation point for the service desk, resolving complex issues and mentoring junior engineers.
- Proactively monitor client systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Help manage the internal infrastructure.
- Assist in research and development efforts with new product offerings.
- Design, implement, and manage IT solutions based on client needs, including network infrastructure, virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V), Windows Server, and SQL Server environments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and knowledge base articles.
- Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Stay current with the latest technologies and industry best practices, particularly in cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
Skills You’ll Need:
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a managed services environment.
- Extensive experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls (WatchGuard preferred), routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper V.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and database management.
- Proven experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and task management.
- Experience with ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise Manage, and Confluence is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Datto BCDR and StorageCraft backup solutions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Industry certifications such as SCCP and CISSP are highly valued.
