Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work on the Submarine Integration and Test Support System (SIATSS) Network in support of our Portsmouth, VA Location.
What you’ll do:

Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting company business processes and operations.

Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software.

Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems.
-
Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems.
-
May contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set.

May provide training and assistance with proposal writing.
Minimum Requirements:

Must have an Active Secret US Government clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret clearance.

12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years relevant experience with Master’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with DoD Networks is a plus.
