This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica to apply for this role.
Role summary
You will design, support, and evolve enterprise-grade infrastructure across compute, storage, virtualization, and data protection platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on operating complex production environments while contributing to modernization, reliability, and scalability initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and administer enterprise server, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Administer enterprise storage platforms, with preference for Pure Storage.
Support Cisco UCS compute environments and associated infrastructure components.
Manage data protection solutions, including Cohesity backup and recovery systems.
Perform day-to-day systems administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
Collaborate with networking, security, and cloud teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Provide escalation and on-call support as required.
Requirements – Must-haves
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter).
Proven experience supporting enterprise servers, storage, and virtualization platforms.
Experience administering enterprise storage systems (provisioning, replication, performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS.
Experience with Cohesity backup and recovery solutions.
Background supporting enterprise-scale data center environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, and virtualization layers.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Demonstrated experience in large-scale or enterprise IT environments.
Nice-to-haves (optional)
Experience with Pure Storage (strongly preferred).
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, Nexus 9000).
Linux or Unix systems administration experience.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads.
Experience with AWS or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
Experience with Zerto replication and disaster recovery solutions.

English B2+, Spanish C1
