Senior Systems Consultant / Engineer

We are looking for talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our dedicated team. The client is a global leader in energy technology.

• Experience in IT/OT integration, especially in retrieving, transmitting and processing data from various automation systems;
• Working knowledge of EMQX, PostgreSQL and NGINX;
• Familiarity / basic knowledge of OPC DA and UA standard, Modbus and NMEA protocols;
• Basic understanding of Communication Gateway and Message Broker;
• Understanding of microservices architecture;
• Basic knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, firewall, network configuration on Windows and Linux;
• Knowledge of computing and virtualization: Installation and configuration of operating systems (both Windows and Linux) on servers and configuration of virtual machines with Hyper-V and Docker containers, knowledge of ArgoCD, Terraform, Kubernetes;
• Analytical approach to data, understanding of data and trends presented on dashboards, ability to design new dashboards to provide the best data insights to the customer;
• Ability to communicate clearly and unambiguously, both in writing (primarily emails) and orally (English is a must, German would be an additional asset);
• Ability to lead and manage technical communication with client and supplier teams for efficient information exchange and critical decision-making regarding systems integration.

Nice to have:

• Understanding and/or experience in maritime automation – onboard equipment (generators, transformers, pumps), typical signals captured by automation systems, communication with PLCs and HMIs;
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: devops, systems architecture, test automation, application development, data analysis.
