Background & Purpose of the Job 

 

The Senior Systems Analyst is to support and evolve the Ben & Jerry’s global IT landscape, primarily consumer-facing. You’ll work closely with other Ben & Jerry’s and agency developers to design, develop, and maintain technical solutions that support consumer facing web sites and associated platforms and integrations across a large global footprint. You’ll work with a cross functional team of U.S. based Ben & Jerry’s staff to develop and execute progressive, innovative, and strategic winning campaigns that support progressive social change. 

 

What You Will Need to Succeed 

 

Leading:

  • Interfaces and collaborates with Brand Managers and other functional areas of the business to understand and translate global, regional, and local business objectives and initiatives into technical solutions.
  • Collaborates with developers to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
  • Manages onboarding and oversight of external service providers/agencies to ensure successful platform integrations.
  • Interfaces with Unilever IT to ensure awareness, and in some cases alignment, with Unilever platforms, capabilities, and processes.
  • Interfaces with Unilever hosting and security teams to ensure compliance, troubleshoot issues or implement solutions.
  • Contributes to the ongoing evolution of the Global Web strategy through a clear understanding of industry trends and directions.
  • Produces documentation of processes and solutions of both a technical and a descriptive nature 

Supporting

  • Monitors and research emerging technologies, external platforms and services, consumer behavior and site analytics to inform innovation and integration opportunities.
  • Recommends process, resourcing, and technical changes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensures user interface design and development adheres to best practices for user security, data privacy, user experience, core web vitals, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Assists with on-site Unilever IT initiatives such as network, print, device, software rollouts and processes.
  • Ensures user interface design and development adheres to web content and accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
  • Ensures content is optimized for search engine optimization (SEO) leading to increased traffic to the site.

 

Skills  

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent level of experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience with enterprise technology solutions
  • Experience working with a team in a continuous integration environment.
  • Light Project Management experience
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure principles. 
  • Familiarity with core web vitals/site speed optimization
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards/best practices
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms, tag management platforms and associated technologies
  • Familiarity with content management systems and principles
  • Strong consultation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

Pay: The pay range for this position is 84,400 - 126,600 . Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.  

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.  

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
