Job Description Summary
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of ICT systems, particularly multi-user networked environments including servers. This role ensures optimal uptime, performance, resource availability, and cybersecurity compliance to meet organizational needs. The Senior Systems Administrator will provide onsite technical leadership and responsible for daily task allocation across the technical team, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and systems requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven technical leadership and subject matter expertise (SME) in ICT systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and user training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience in Operating Systems and Applications Patch Management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT).
- Professional certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
