VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Administrator or our Devens, MA, location.

Job Purpose

As the Senior Systems Administrator at VulcanForms, Inc., Devens, MA, you will be responsible for the installation, management, security, and maintenance of our office's software, hardware, and network systems and visits to our Newburyport, MA location will be required on a as needed basis. You will support IT needs across various interdisciplinary teams to ensure our technology is operating smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT-related efforts for implementation of compliance, quality, and resource planning systems
  • Manage help desk and support services and respond to escalated help desk issues
  • Manage analysis, selection, and modification of enterprise systems and application software
  • Ensure IT infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility
  • Leverage industry best practices to drive continuous improvement to the IT systems
  • Perform internal audit programs, continuous security/penetration testing, and drive non-conformance issues to conclusion
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience as a Systems Administrator
  • Extensive experience supporting both Windows and Linux operating systems configuration and management
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft365
  • Extensive experience with networking and networking protocols
  • Extensive experience with Windows 11; Server 2025,2019, 2016, 2012
  • Experience with Linux – RedHat, Rocky & Ubuntu
  • Knowledge of client/server environments, Group Policies, Domain Services, Networking, and Realm
  • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructures (Nutanix), Private Cloud, & Public Clouds (AWS & Azure)
  • Experience with Veeam Disaster Recovery software


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field
  • Proven track record from the ground-up IT Infrastructure specification, implementation, administration, and maintenance
  • Experience with compliance standards in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, and medical devices industries


VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. 

In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match. 


The annual base salary range for this position is $96k to $125k.
