About the Role:

We are looking for a experienced Senior System Administrator specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM). You will complete projects and maintain IAM systems, ensuring security and efficiency. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will lead system integrations, manage configurations, and implement security frameworks.

You Will:

  • You will plan, configure and implement IAM system configurations.
  • Lead large-scale IAM system integration and optimization projects.
  • Maintain and enhance IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management and single sign-on (SSO).
  • You will collaborate with the Program Manager to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead IAM-related projects aligned with Remitly’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure minimal change to services during system upgrades and integrations.
  • Manage IAM system performance, resolving issues proactively.
  • Conduct security audits, implement updates, and enforce security measures.
  • Develop documentation and best practices for IAM processes.
  • You will design and implement security frameworks to safeguard information assets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Work with the IT Manager to align IAM strategies with IT goals.
  • Collaborate with security, enterprise applications, internal audit, and other teams.
  • Communicate technical issues to non-technical team members.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of improvement.
  • Advocate for best practices in system management, security, and efficiency.
  • Promote the evaluation and adoption of new IAM technologies.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in system administration, with a focus on IAM.
  • Expertise in managing IAM systems in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading complex IAM projects and integrations.
  • Experience of IAM technologies and protocols, including SSO, LDAP, OAuth, and SAML.
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols and principles.
  • Experience with IAM solutions like Okta, Azure AD(Entra ID), or similar platforms.
  • Have implemented roote-cause analysis techniques to improve service reliability.
