We are now looking for a Senior System Security Architect – PQC & Emerging Technologies! NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding security architect with deep expertise in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum-resilient security technologies to help design, validate, and guide secure architecture across our next-generation products. The candidate is expected to: define problems & deliver highly innovative solutions that lead to significant differentiation in the industry, translate customer needs into architectural, technical & strategic direction, and help achieve the long-range goals of the Security organization. Leaders in this role will strengthen NVIDIA’s Data Center and networking products against quantum-era threats while driving adoption of future-proof security technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the innovation, design and integration of PQC algorithms and protocols across NVIDIA networking, compute, and system solutions.

  • Evaluate and guide the use of quantum technologies for security (e.g., quantum-safe protocols, quantum key distribution, quantum hardware accelerators).

  • Work with technical and senior leadership to turn quantum-resilient strategies into secure, scalable implementations.

  • Collaborate across multiple business units and development groups to ensure robust protection from early design through deployment.

  • Build and showcase proofs of concept (PoCs) for PQC and emerging cryptographic solutions.

  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance on cryptography, secure system design, and architectures resilient to future quantum threats.

  • Represent NVIDIA in industry and academic initiatives to influence PQC standards, champion collaborations, and drive thought leadership in quantum-resilient security.

What We Need To See:

  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in the security industry, with focus on system-level products spanning HW, FW, and SW.

  • Strong background in cryptography and security protocols, including Post-Quantum Cryptography (NIST PQC algorithms, TLS/IPsec integration, PKI migration) and emerging technologies like QKD, QRNG, secure enclaves, and quantum acceleration.

  • Solid understanding of Root of Trust (RoT) technologies, SoC architecture, and cryptographic acceleration.

  • Deep knowledge of networking and distributed system security protocols, with awareness of AI and other emerging technologies in system security.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate across multiple groups and influence technical direction.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Proven experience implementing or deploying PQC algorithms in real systems.

  • Research or contributions to quantum security technologies (QKD, quantum RNG, hybrid classical/quantum protocols).

  • Active participation in global PQC standardization, industry consortia, or academic collaborations, demonstrating leadership in shaping the future of quantum-resilient security.

  • Experience engaging with customers, industry, and regulators on cryptography transitions and quantum-resilient roadmaps.
