Purpose of Position
- The Senior System Engineer orchestrates efficient software delivery by fostering collaboration among development, QA, and operations teams, automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing continuous integration and delivery pipelines for streamlined operations.
Job Description
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient and effective software delivery
- Automate and streamline deployment processes
- Monitor and maintain system and application performance
- Implement security and compliance measures
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure high availability and reliability
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical systems and infrastructure
- Good command of spoken and written skills in English & Cantonese
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in AWS cloud technologies
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
