As part of our continued growth, Neo Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our local partners, leveraging our network of 1,400 talented professionals across 10+ countries. Together, we are committed to delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that empower our clients and foster professional growth within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.
We are on the lookout for a Senior System Engineer to join our Engineering Team.
Unlock your full potential as a Senior System Engineer. In this senior, hands-on role, you will help move our partner's Infrastructure & Operations toward a platform engineering model, building reusable, self-service infrastructure capabilities for databases, messaging, secrets, DNS, compute, monitoring and application environments. You won't just keep systems running; you will automate and standardize infrastructure workflows, develop internal tooling and APIs, and improve how Kubernetes, CI/CD, networking and observability work together. If you have deep Linux and Kubernetes experience, think in reusable systems rather than one-off scripts, and enjoy solving complex production issues, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Engineering & Transformation: Help evolve Infrastructure & Operations toward a platform engineering model.
- Workflow Automation & Standardization: Standardize and automate infrastructure workflows and reduce manual provisioning.
- Core Capabilities & Provisioning: Build reusable infrastructure capabilities for databases, messaging, secrets, DNS, compute, monitoring, and application environments.
- Internal Tooling & Lifecycle Management: Develop internal tooling, APIs, and declarative workflows for infrastructure lifecycle management.

- Architectural & Technical Design: Participate in architecture and technical design of platform and infrastructure services.
- Reliability & Performance Engineering: Improve reliability, scalability, and operational simplicity of production infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Investigation: Investigate complex infrastructure and production issues across Linux, networking, applications, and distributed systems.
- Observability & Diagnostics: Improve observability, diagnostics, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development, DevOps, SRE, DBA, Security, and Infrastructure units.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Standardize common infrastructure solutions and document how they should be implemented and used.
- Technology Innovation & Developer Experience: Evaluate and introduce technologies that improve developer experience and infrastructure efficiency.
