700Apps is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Senior System Analyst to join our innovative team. As a Senior System Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the organization's systems, functions, and processes. Your role will involve gathering requirements, identifying system enhancements, and proposing solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements and specifications.
- Design and recommend new systems or enhancements to existing systems to improve performance and usability.
- Develop system documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity in requirements.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure systems meet specified requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into the analytical process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong understanding of system development life cycles (SDLC) and methodologies.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, data modeling, and process mapping techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with system integration, testing, and project management.
- Familiarity with programming languages and database management systems.
- Certifications such as ISTQB or CBAP are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
