JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in managing secure, enterprise-grade IT environments within federal or DoD frameworks. This individual will:
- Provide Tier III technical support, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions for complex system issues.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers--including strong working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux--Active Directory forests, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity mandates.
- Ensure security and compliance across classified and unclassified systems using DoD STIGs, RMF, and maintain ATO status through patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Maintain rigorous documentation for configuration baselines, change control, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with federal stakeholders and cybersecurity teams to translate operational needs into secure, compliant technical solutions.
- Support system onboarding and enterprise integration, ensuring smooth deployment aligned with agency directives.
- Automate system provisioning and compliance tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
- Possess working knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network switches, supporting secure network configurations, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and contributing to overall infrastructure resilience.
