You will work with the Director of Quantitative Research and a team of experienced methodologists. Collectively, you will partner with and enable Insights teams across the enterprise to win the moments that matter across Nike’s core pillars and markets.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Senior Survey Researcher to join Nike’s Insights, Data Science, and Analytics (IDSA) organization. This role will play a key position on the Quantitative Research team in service of our mission to bring clarity & confidence to critical decisions by listening to the voice of the consumer at scale. The candidate must have end-to-end quantitative survey research experience, a keen sense of judgment, and the ability to drive impact through insightful storytelling.

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience (Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associate degree + 3 yrs.)

Experience in survey writing & methodology, research brief creation, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques, with expertise in software tools such as JMP, SAS, R, or STATA

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated data into actionable insights for diverse audiences and partners

Proven leadership experience, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive critical initiatives, and achieve measurable outcomes

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to accommodate complex research objectives

Aptitude for working well in teams and managing projects independently

Market agency research experience preferred
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Coaching research teams on survey science best practices and research brief refinement through interpersonal consultations, research templates, and playbooks

Developing a longitudinal understanding of Nike’s most significant consumers

Tackling must-win priorities alongside multi-disciplinary research teams, including qualitative research partners, analytics teammates, and global/geography partners.

Collaborating with business stakeholders and research partners on critical learning agendas

Coaching multi-disciplinary research partners on quantitative research best practices

Drafting sample plan strategies to reach Nike’s global audience

Designing and programming surveys with methodological rigor

Analyzing data to uncover actionable insights and storytelling insights to drive impact

Synthesizing insights across varied data sources to form unified and powerful stories

Presenting top-line insights to executive leaders across the enterprise
