We are a boutique surety broker specializing in serving large publicly and privately held companies. We are the largest independent surety-only broker in the world and are committed to providing bespoke surety solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Surety Analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Includes but may not be limited to:
- Work as a senior part of a team to efficiently process and manage clients’ surety bond needs: review bid specs/contracts, facilitate information exchange between clients and underwriters, secure approvals, and issue bonds.
- Maintain communication with clients, underwriters, and producers to provide top-tier customer service.
- Handle all administrative aspects of bond issuance, modifications, renewals, cancellations, invoicing, and database management.
- Review incoming bond applications for completeness and accuracy; enter data into processing systems.
- Organize and maintain electronic bond documents.
- Serve as liaison for updates and inquiries; coordinate with underwriters to address any issues.
- Process endorsements and renewals; document changes accurately and inform relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct quality checks to resolve discrepancies in documentation.
- Set and achieve work goals; ensure thorough and accurate task completion.
- Provide high-level customer service; handle phone and inbox requests.
- Support accounting with billing issue resolution.
- Maintain expertise in surety terms and procedures; train and mentor junior analysts.
- Independently manage select client programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Industry experience required, with proficiency in processing various bond types.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and thorough follow-through.
- Energetic, service-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, file documentation, and collaborative approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn proprietary systems.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base salary range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position will also include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
