The Opportunity
Our Business Solutions Engineering team is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join our team in Lincolnshire, Illinois. This role is responsible for:
- Create test plans and perform testing on new products to ensure the quality of the system.
- Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved.
- Conduct field investigations, identify root cause or supporting organization with required data leading to resolution.
- Actively update, maintain and monitor open issues.
- Analyze and clarify the queries by conducting research and troubleshooting the issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries (phone or email) and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.
- Assist application engineers by supporting System Integrators.
- Attend various trade shows with supporting system installation/configuration and demo new product/technology introduction
- Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to commercial feature troubleshooting and usage.
- Documents and conveys Voice of Customer (VOC) for technical issues, such as requirements for field issue solution, to appropriate internal teams.
- Improve current test protocol and automation test tool
- Issuance of license required for customers to use special features, improvement of current processes, and technical support
- Improve IP network testing and test environment for both WIRED and WIFI
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering science or related discipline
- 5 - 7 years of Engineering and or Sales Engineering experience

- Fluent with Korean, reading and writing a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware, networking systems and software programming.
- Knowledge of operating systems, web services, and API’s. (HTML, PHP, JAVA Script, TCP/IP Networking)
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to influence
- Must be detail oriented and a critical thinker.
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Information Display or Digital Signage industry a plus.

$79,000—$106,000 USD
