Department OverviewCommercial Markets: this department is responsible to deliver and maintain all the Managed Services to the current customers.
• Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of communication systems projects;
• Will act as a leader and focal point for all technical aspects of the projects under their responsibility.
• Will work in partnership with the ACSM to ensure the execution of the contract within the established timeframe/cost, always focusing on the quality of delivery.
Job Description

  • Operational Coordination of the field team;
  • Understanding client needs;
  • Support in the operations of our Radio Communication systems;
  • Preparation of equipment lists;
  • Executive design and implementation of radio communication networks, including repeater stations, terminals, and transport networks;
  • Meetings and presentations for clients;
  • Factory and Field Testing;
  • RF coverage design and interference mitigation;
  • Commissioning and programming of Master Site;
  • Testing and activation of Base Transceiver Stations (BTS);
  • Preparation of performance reports;
  • Support in escalating level 3 tickets;
  • Anatel licensing;
  • Relationship with partners, local and external suppliers;
  • Preparation and testing of programming masks for devices;
  • Performing upgrades on systems that are in operation;
  • Interface with the Product and Support team to escalate issues related to implementations;
  • Support in the processes of purchasing spare materials and inventory management;
  • Create purchasing specifications for subcontracting materials and services in the areas of data transmission, energy, and civil infrastructure and installation.


Basic Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related, with more than 5 years of experience;
  • Fluent English;
  • Valid driver's license (Category B);
  • Experience and knowledge in the design and implementation of IP networks;
  • Experience in the installation and maintenance of servers;
  • Experience in configuring operating systems (Unix, Linux, and Windows Server);
  • Experience in technical support for radio communication systems;
  • Experience in managing various levels of client organizations, multiple levels of distribution, and end-users of clients;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Presentation);
  • Self-motivation, ability to work in a team, and a sense of urgency;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Availability for travel (25 to 50% of the time);
  • Availability for maintenance windows and weekend work;
  • Ability to bring creative and innovative solutions that meet project specifications at the lowest possible cost;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation ability. Presentation of complex topics to non-technical individuals.

Desirable:

  • Active CREA registration;
  • ITIL certification;
  • Experience and knowledge in Tetra radio communication systems;
  • CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification;
  • Experience in indoor coverage projects and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS);
  • Experience in projects in the Oil and Gas sector;
