Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to support the material requirements of our Military Aftermarket Division. This role encompasses procurement and management of Test Equipment, Tooling, Non-OEM components, and Repair & Overhaul projects.

To be considered for this role, here’s what you would typically bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience OR associate’s degree in related field of study plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant Supply Chain/Procurement experience

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including customers and suppliers

  • This includes PO placement and leading negotiations with external customers or suppliers.

  • Deep knowledge of procurement processes including but not limited to PO placement, RFQ/RFP requirements, quality assurance, customer flow-down requirements, parts scheduling, and management, DDMRP processes/inputs.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawing requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and follow Supply Chain regulations/procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.

  • Requires less than 10% travel

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to support program requirements.

  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring inclusion of Moog, technical, quality assurance, and customer flow-down requirements.

  • Analyze supplier proposals to assess compliance and value.

  • Lead contract negotiations, with a strong understanding of complex terms and conditions.

  • Conduct project review meetings with suppliers to ensure adherence to quality and delivery expectations.

  • Monitor and resolve Engineering Change Orders prior to final delivery.

  • Serve as a liaison to address issues related to vendor payments and contractual matters.

  • Generate and manage Purchase Order documentation in alignment with Government Compliance Checklist requirements, including order entry as needed.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00–$115,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Skills Required
